3/22/05
  • Met with Mack, discussed prep of pond dam and will supply a quote. 
  • Met Morgan Sign contact for sign location.
  • Met with Terry Tucker, Terry waiting on letter from Mac for approval to order pump station panel.  Mac will deliver by 4PM.
  • Met with Tony & Greg at Town Hall.  Mac said septic tie in at road not approved, but feels he can get it pushed through.  Asked Greg about platting and recording before tie in.  We will provide a letter to guarantee funding to install connection to Fred Lineberry.
  • Called David Ward, he is working on Plat, will come in and stake front corners once edges are dressed and seeded.
  • Spoke to PNG, Angie Austin, and left message with Larry Benton, ENG.

3/23/05
  • Left message with PNG Larry again.
  • Got call from PNG, Judy Coble.  She said sleeves are only for intersections.  She will call later today to let me know time frame to see if it is feasible time wise.
  • DP, Troy called and said plans will be in tomorrow.  Need eng to go and flag for transformers. Wanted to run power between lots 2&3, then down sewage easement to cul-de-sac.  I said I would approve if they would be liable for sewage damage.  He would not do that, so they will run up the street, then in.
  • NS, Robert Stevenson, wanted to know if we had Duke Plans yet.  Will call me again tomorrow to see if Duke delivers plans.  He said if Duke crossovers were close, they could install at the same time.
  • TW, called cust serv number.  They are researching and will return a call to me.
  • PNG, Judy called, wants to meet at 9:30 in the AM to look at site. 

3/24/05
  • NS, Robert called to see if I had DP plans.  Will call again on Monday.
  • Met PNG, Judy at site to review sleeve placement.
  • Met with National Mortgage and First Horizon
  • DP, left Troy message to follow up on plans
  • DP, Troy called and will drop plans off after 4PM.  Will schedule someone to flag development for transformer placement. Pipe to be delivered by Friday week.  Depending on weather, all wire could be installed by last week of April, 1st week May.
  • PNG, Judy called and will deliver sleeves Friday Week. 
  • Called Mack to let him know about pipe delivery dates.

  • NS, Robert called, said he had a crew at Mallard Woods working on his crossovers

3/31/05
  • PNG, Judy called said they had their sleeve material, will deliver on Friday if weather permits.  If not Friday, early on Monday.  I told her to place it between the 2 cul-de-sacs on the left.
  • Message for Mack again.
  • Called Terry, He said Mack had gotten him the letter.  He also said he had just been told about the island at the entrance yesterday and he is trying to get pricing for all the materials.  I asked him about installing the crossovers, and he said that the power company should do it.  I told him DP & PNG said they provide the material.  He said to get with him the info and he will quote it.

 4/1/05

  • Mack called, said letter had been sent to Terry and panels ordered.  He said to work directly with Terry to quote crossover installation

  • Called PNG, Judy said sleeving delivered today.  I discussed that their was no sleeve to the island and she said this was considered a service to the island and they only sleeve main crossing.

  • Spoke to Leon, DP called him and delivered crossover materials.  Leon asked about letter of credit for sewage connection.

  • Left message for Mack, asked him to contact me or Leon about status of credit letter.

  • Faxed small map and cover sheet concerning crossover installation to Terry and Leon.

 4/4/05

  • Called Terry to insure he got the fax.  He said he got it, but had not had the opportunity to look at it.  He said he would look over it and be in touch.

 4/5/05

  • Talked with Leon, Terry does not want to pave until Duke is finished.  We need to firm up dates with Duke and PNG.

  • Called left Trey, DP, a message to call me tomorrow to firm up dates.

 4/6/05

  • Called TW, left message for Wink Bradford to contact me.

  • DP, left another message for Troy..

  • DP, Troy called said he would have someone on site to flag transformer locations.  He felt they could be completely installed by end of April.  He will get quote from Pike to install crossovers.

  • Got quote from Terry, $3500 to install Crossovers.  Called and he said he really did not want to install them, but also he wanted to make sure they are done correctly.

  • Called Jules, left message to schedule meeting Monday.

  • Called Surveyor, left message to try and schedule someone to come out Monday on site to assist with transformer flagging.

 4/7/05

  • David Ward, surveyor, called said he would meet us on site at 10:30 weather permitting to assist with transformer flagging.

  • Troy called, Pike will install crossovers free, but will not guarantee compaction.  After flagging, we will do a walkthru with engineers at 1:30

  • I called Terry, told him to install crossovers, and asked if him or Danny would meet with us at 1:30 on Monday.  He said someone would be there, and he would start on crossovers ASAP, then contact APAC to see if they can come out at the end of the week to start their preliminary work.

  • Call from Bret Queen, Chandler Concrete, 669-9423 will meet us on Tuesday to give us info on Chandler Concrete and what they could do for the Victory Junction Home.

  • Scott Bivens called, discussed time frame, he will contact Mack to get info he needs.  He said they will come in immediately after Northstate.

 4/11/05

  • Met with DP, flagged service lines and transformers, met with Pike to walk job site.   Several areas need some grading attention to reduce slope and remove some trees.  Primary trouble areas are fence and bank on road frontage on left of entrance, sediment pits at each side of entrance, dirt mounds on first cul-de-sac on left,  flowing water at dam, slope and trees around end of main road as well as last cul-de-sac on right.

  • Leon will contact a grader to work on problem areas.

  • Danny with Terry; Plumbing working on crossovers.

  • Wink Bradford called from TW 215-5201, said to call if we needed anything.

  • Left message with Mack, about sewage connection/finance letter/working through school for connection.

 4/12/05

  • Talked with Bret at Chandler Concrete, he stated that between he and his block and brick contact, he could have the concrete, block, and brick at least 50% donated if not 100%.   We will meet him around noon and go to Spurs.

 4/13/05

  • Dropped off Right of Way forms to Troy at Duke Power office.  Troy said that Rhonda was back and would now be handling our community.

 4/14/05
  • Talked with Mack, He had talked with Bob Wilhoyt, Bob said school board still did not like one thing, but he felt he can get us connected.   Mack said he would get the credit letter and the dam proposal together.
  • Talked with Leon, bull dozier should be there on Saturday to do prep work for Pike.
4/17/05
  • Went to MW to check on grading and open valve on pond.  Called Pike and they said they would be there on Tuesday AM.
4/18/05
  • Meeting at Victory Junction, Jules leaving, met with Jules and Jennifer Poole.  Amy Jones will be new contact 495-2003, ajones@victoryjunction.org
  • Had lunch with Bret from Chandler Concrete
  • Terry's Plumbing working, APAC grading, Pike working, and Northstate Truck there also.

  • Went to see progress, APAC placing gravel, Northstate & Pike burying cable

 4/23/05
